Seller has several early print Hardcovers.  Granted all of them are extremely rough looking, but the opening bids are cheap, so it might be worth it to fill a whole:

2nd print MM:

another 2nd print MM:

3rd+ print MM:

2nd print PHB:

another 2nd print PHB. This one is really trashed tho':

Anyone else get a bad vibe from the high bidder currently on this auction?

No real activity to speak of in over 2 years and looking at his feedback no known gaming sources. That in conjuction with the fact that the high bidder hasn't bid on any other auctions(gaming or otherwise) with the exception of PSP DVD remote in the last 30 days.  Considering that this auction is also is listed in perhaps the worst category for D&D stuff imaginable: Pre-1970 tuperware. I don't know something just doesn't feel right. :?

You have a nose for this kind of thing...but I don't see anything odd about this bidder.

Maybe he just decided to go looking for his old D&D books.

A not-so-good picture of a massive lot.  I think that I can see Greyhawk and Dungeon Geomorphs.

Might make for a good poll.  I personally find them squarely in the "boring" category, with the exception of Aussie/UK/US 1st printings...

I dont think that its too pricey.  It is a high starting bid, but not too much  IMHO. :)

i agree with BC. dont think its high at all. prb wont get too many bids with the high opener, but will be v.surprised if it doesnt sell, especially some of the other nice items the seller has listed and would make for a nice combined postage too.

UK auction, Queen of the Spiders:

** expired/removed eBay auction **

Its not in optimal conditio as per the description, but someone else make sure that they get so Caps-lock Cougar doesn't.  Everyone knows that if Caps=lock Cougar gets it, it will end up being relisted in VGC with a £50+ reserve.
