No hiding place. Sheesh... that was barely an hour ago. ^^

Thanks. I think that's enough woodies for both feet, now. ;)

Was hoping the seller would originally have wanted to split the 1st Greyhawk (primary target!), but that's still a rather unusual box and free shipping, at the end of the day.

(Still think Tim & Mike's "20%" quote on hybrids(/other weird combos?) was high, regardless - no reply from Mike on that... :?).

=

Seller was messed around by <ihugtrees> on the previous auction (dead-beat bidder).

- might wish to consider that name for the block-list...

Not me, guv'nors... Though I might've been tempted by the "good" 2nd print at that price.

For the other 2nd (just sold at $950, originally asking $2,250 - and thanks for the note, Steven), I'll stick with my previous assessment and "suggested best way to sell" note;

At least the seller didn't just sit on it for ever... And hoping the winner finds my skepticism on the condition to be not totally founded.

(2nd woodgrain with a 2nd GH vs. a 3rd woodgrain with a 1st GH, eh?)

Now if only I could remember whether the other vertical grain 3rd print (more typical for the 2nd print box) also came with a 1st Greyhawk...

Time for a poll on 3rds, perhaps, but (off-hand) I don't think I recall more than one other like that?

Thanks, Stephen; possibly more an indicator of how much people have been seeing the 1sts go for recently, IMHO... although I didn't think I'd be quite that close first-time-around if truth be told. (Similarly on Steve's 3rd+WoM).

No joke! (Did think it looked like one of the fine print/(early?) boxes, but seriously need to plough back through the 4ths again at some stage).

Don't know whether to shout "whoa, Deimos!" or "go, Deimos!", to be honest. :)

*watches for glares from those involved*

Enjoy & Good luck! :D

Heh.  No glares here, at least.  Brian already offered it to me for less than the current price, and I declined, as I knew full well it would go higher on eBay.  I put in a reasonable high bid, but I'm not anticipating a win.  If so, all the better.

Congrats on the woodgrain, incidentally.

Star Probe.  Currently at $15.75 with one day left.  Shipping is a bit on the high side though.  :?

Ptolus for only $77.95.  Considering its nasty little $120 retail price tag I figure maybe a few 3.5ers will be interested (heck I bought one  :D ).  Only 5 left and 5 hrs. left in the auction.

This is Monte Cook's newly-released campaign setting.  It has a retail price of US$120.
