Strange mixed lot that contains the AD&D Fighting Wheel. The price seems right for a Rarity 4 item ...

Fighting Wheel

UK seller, but ships worldwide.

Personally, I still prefer to point out "interesting items" (and not just top-$ ones), to help keep hobby-interest levels going rather than form a silent cartel to protect "our interests". It's a close call, though.

Very well said.

And three and a half years ago there was an entire thread about whose eBay bid lists to search for in order to find the most choice items:

http://www.acaeum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=152

Mkman had most of us pegged.

Whether or not that fits your definition, it is very wearing having to "worry" about whether it's OK or not to post anything here without the indirect, repetitive critique of "I didn't mention those two auctions because there were Acaeum members already listed as bidders" (EVEN if they were no longer high bidders!).

Silly and rather childish, IMO; just like long, re-re-edited rambling replies with phrasing such as "I will add my bid list to my signature file if anyone has any concerns about that" (called, please do!), "can everyone please please please forgive me this terrible act?" () and "So is it accepted here to post auctions even if others are the high bidder now? If so then when I do it I will make sure the people affected know it was "your will" we are doing this because others tend to observe it" (emphasis mine) (go for it...).

OK, enough already (like ya say, trying to get the "last word").

Either people can post in this thread without having to stress 'bout "complaints", or else it might as well be locked-down.

TD #10, 11 in stated VF+ condition. Snit Smashing intact in #10.
Seller has #7-11 (OK, the "common" issues), but interest is focusing on #7, 8 leaving #10, 11 cheaper, for now. Poss. worth a watch, anyhow.

I see it does. I am not even sure how I got pulled into this. I never even started the poll and it was not about that. I assume I wronged some people in some other way and this is karma striking a blow. So I am now not going to worry who the bidders are and not complain. Only problem is I had to remove most of my sig file to post my bid list.

I'm not sure about divided, but as I've said a few times in the past, it is becoming quite cutthroat. Used to be that when someone picked up a good item, there were congrats and cheers galore. Now it's mostly "grrrrrrr" or "damn it, I missed that one. What a steal" or the like. Seems to be a lot more jealousy and negativity. It's really a shame, if the majority of the members worked together, prices could be cut dramatically, which would really be in everyone's interest.

Ebay can shut down the auction for that little statement.  Why not just charge $10 more for the item?

After several emails to-and-fro with Tim, it's somewhat amusing to see the wrong ref. sheets in that re-auction...

aside: The pics from the original 2nd print auction show faults on the other books, too, in addition to that noted on the current listing. Nothing particularly serious, though, and it's still a very nice set regardless of the profiteering (IMO) BIN "ask".

For reference the mark up on the 4th print is even more excessive than the 2nd print set.

Wise words on copies of Jade Hare. I know that Cougarrinard is actively promoting the sale of photocopies - i.e. I recently got an email from him offering one  8O , so I would be doubly careful.
