Nice lot, tho; clean lizzie Giants, 1st print Q1 (wizard) and A2 (tall), and the S2 is 1st or 2nd. The U's and UK's are always popular, too.

Seen this one before? (The one with the rather high reserve price, IIRC).

Anyhow...

Strange mix of supplements. Ask about the box: looks to have a bit of a stain at the foot, but that isn't mentioned + need to check for any other small faults, even though it /is/ a very good box. Plus for any staple rust on the 5ths.

See no reason why the ref sheets should not go with the box, but better to check just in case.

Good luck to anyone who does find the reserve set at $300+.

Buys a lot of CCGs too, iirc.

That said, he always drops out of auctions at a predictable point, when his resale markup limit is reached. (For those of you coming to GenCon with Real Money...)

The owner of Troll & Toad shall be getting a nice cease-and-desist order from me. Takes some balls to post my scan of (my copy of!) Ghost Tower, but then to make the first line of his auction:

"Please note that we own the property rights for all images and pictures used in our listings. Unauthorized copying will be reported to eBay."

Wow! That took balls to post that tidbit in his auction after swiping the image for the auction itself was exactly what I was thinking also...that's mindboggling. If you are going to sell something that valuable, why would you not take multiple scans/photos of the REAL item for sale to post?

BTW, as of right now the auction has ended :twisted:

Just a note, the owner of T&T has posted here on the Acaeum and is taking down all of his purloined images...nice of someone to come here admitting a mistake, correcting it, and not ranting ala Creep or Keep.....

As I've said and inferred, Jon's an okay guy and a good businessman. We're not friends (don't have enough contact) but I respect him. Sure his store prices are high... so keep looking elsewhere for bargains. ;> But that aside, if you find anything wrong with his auctions or offerings, please contact him. He'll handle it professionally and ethically.
