See?  You people keep saying these are rare, but I've seen three woodgrains in the last month.

The starter on that one's so high I can't even dream about it; I hope that doesn't hurt their final price.

Interesting he doesn't accept paypal or credit card purchases.  He has a pretty high ebay rating and it just seems strange that he wouldn't have accepted paypal for any of them.

That has to be the nicest woodgrain box I've ever seen.

More edgewear than some and the light corner creasing on those others may be as much from manufacturing.

If it wasn't for the slight bend on the upper flap, Mike <improv>'s would've had that easily beat with regards to small label, horizontal grain boxes. (His being a fluke copy for a 3rd print OD&D set, which somewhat confused matters at the time).

A very decent box though, no doubt...

Would like to know where they picked up that opening bid request, were it not for our price list here.

Anyhow... states foxing under top of front cover; possibly a little on the cover too, but difficult to tell from the scan.

1st MMs seem to be somewhat prone to that, for some reason.

The errata sheet is a nice-to-have, regardless of slightly-tattered condition: a pity, given that price.
