Hi folks---

I've been very busy with work over the past six months, and haven't had a chance to do a lot of fun gaming or Greyhawk stuff, beyond sporadic bursts of message boards activitiy.

I'm pleased to say that life's finally swinging back into balance, which means a little more time for Greyhawk, among many other things :D

As a result of some additional free time, I'm able to pass along several Greyhawk announcements, some of which will hopefully catch your collective eye:

  • Rob Kuntz is hard at work on the first book of Castle Zagyg ruins and dungeon levels (being published by Troll Lords Games), as well as the new Maure Castle level for Paizo's Dungeon Magazine
  • Rob also recently released an expanded .pdf edition of the Dark Druids scenario he published with TLG back in 2002---details appear in his Pied Piper Publishing forums at
    http://p085.ezboard.com/fpiedpiperpubli ... D=73.topic
This adventure was originally set in the Gnarley Forest; see Rob's annotated bibliography on Canonfire! for details:
    http://www.canonfire.com/cfhtml/modules ... le&sid=125
(once I have my Canonfire! admin access restored properly, I'll be performing several updates to this as well)
  • a new World of Greyhawk web forum was launched this week at the Knights & Knaves Alehouse, an AD&D- and OD&D-focused forum; you can check it out at
    http://www.knights-n-knaves.com/phpBB/v ... m.php?f=40
  • I finally began several long-overdue projects on my web site, including the updating and expansion of my Greyhawk Tournament History page at http://www.greyhawkonline.com/grodog/gh_tourneys.html --- which details early D&D and Greyhawk tournament adventures (published and unpublished); some folks over on the Paizo "Age of Worms" boards had asked me for info about the "Finger of the Wind" multi-round tourney, which I just posted tonight; many more updates will be forthcoming on this page soon, including info on several additional very rare GH tourney adventures
  • Lastly but certainly not leastly, I've begun running another GH campaign, which has been quite fun so far, moreson since none of the players (other than me) have played D&D before (though they've played many X-Box-, Playstation-, and PC-based video/rpgs); we're starting out in Hommlet and the Moathouse for the nonce, with the monastary from the 1e DMG waiting in the wings, along with my version of Castle Greyhawk looming on the horizon

If you've seen this annoucement several times, I apologize in advance, as I want to insure that as many GH fans as possible are made aware of these new items.
