ok, guys! i've found another trick: a good "italian job"!

look at this, pls:

D D HORROR ON THE HILL AVVENTURA B5 | eBay

in this auction the seller is trying to place a "special edition" of the module... he says that it's exactly the same as the original but a bit more little in dimensions of the booklet due to the reprint (???)

i believe it's not very legal!

WOW, what a great stocking stuffer this one is:

CD ROM of Dungeons and Dragons Core Rulebooks Plus | eBay

An illegally burned CD.  Anyone else think that its a good idea to give away stolen material for Christmas?

Why didn't the seller just post a link to WOTC's site. The buyer would get a better quality copy...

Also, it is not legitimate. It is a copy! Anyway, who would care if it was legitimate!

"I made a copy of it before I sold my own copy of the Orange cover B3, so I know this to be legitimate."

Of course. This guy has a very clear idea of the concept of backup copy.

I suppose that the huge list of 3.5 modules was what raised the price that much.

This look like schilling??

There are no bad editions of D&D, just Boring Players and Unimaginative DMs.

I dont think so, just a couple of newbies.  The seller is listed from Texas and both low feedback bidders are listed form other states:

imready2go_jh is listed from Maryland:

eBay listings

jhmcreative is listed from Florida:

eBay listings

Also the Zero feedback bidder has bid on another auction in the last 30 days

imready2go_jh:

Welcome to eBay

Obviously anything is possible, but in this circumstance I am thinking that this is most likely not a shill(at least right now that is   ). :)

Vague and pictureless, so it probably won't sell, anyway.  It's also probably too hard to pin anything on him.  But if it's "$1800 worth of stuff", it's not freeware.    Where do these freaks come from?
