Did he have the opportunity to cancel the auctions before you used BIN?

If he had been told that it was copyright infringement and still let the auctions run then by all means pan him.

Otherwise, maybe the benefit of your doubt.  Unless he hits your shill account with negatives.

It takes me all of 10 minutes to create an account, if I take a coffee break. So no worries.
I got the e-mails about the cancellations, and then he put up ANOTHER auction for the same thing.

Seller elal1963 is selling colour photocopies of R1, R3, RPGA3, RPGA4 and Dungeon Crawl.

elal1963 | eBay

Reported to WotC.

OK, he's only selling for 99p so can't be making much of a profit.  But what else does he offer the buyers?!?

Somebody kindly take out the auctions.

I'll do it tomorrow. They're asking about my shill account, so it's time for a new one.

elal1963 is taking the piss now.

The seller has recently posted about 30 colour photocopies of various modules.

These ones aren't BIN.  They were probably just to test the water.

I know some folks at Ebay (HQ is down the street from my house).  I doubt there's anything I can do but I'll see if there's a way to screw these guys over more than we are.

I got a reply back from [email protected] who said that he would speak to eBay.

But these auctions are only for 3 days.  So, I wouldn't be surprised if they have all been won before eBay pull their collective fingers out.

And the seller has posted even more stuff.

Andrew and eBay work really quick. I bet the auctions are gone by tomorrow.

Seems someone named PDFkilla is bidding on all the auctions...

Wow, PDfkilla's bids were cancelled. He was called an "antifreetrader" in the explanation. I hope he doesn't resort to drastic measures, such as sniping.......
Perhaps the seller is an Acaeum member? I can't think of any other reason why the seller would cancel the bids, unless he were following this thread.

PDfkilla is a pretty obvious shill name.  I highly doubt they're reading this thread.  Of the 10 or so guys who would be reading this, I highly doubt any of them would sell pdf's.

If you snipe make sure you use a different user name as they can block you from bidding as PDfkilla!

Maybe someone linked the seller to this thread?

OK, I don't want to drag up old arguments, but hopefully now everyone sees why shill accounts are useful. And this is what I used to use them for...
Fuck it, I'm bidding with my regular account. I'll trust eBay to back me up and remove the inevitable negatives. This asswipe needs to learn a lesson. Free trade. What the fuck is he, a Mexican trying to take advantage of NAFTA? I have almost all the modules he's selling for trade/sale, and I'd probably ask just a little more than the photocopies he's selling.

Ebay won't remove negatives... even if they are an attack on you.

It's a genie they can't let out of the bottle.

Shill or report him.  Leave your good name out of it.

(Or get ebayDeadlord to bid on them!) :)

The fool had the idiocy to post BIN's on MORE items. So Pdfkilla struck a mighty blow in the name of RPG collectors everywhere! Vive le RPG!
