Daggerdude had a run-in with eBay it appears. I'm getting on the phone with them right now.

Nancy, theoretically of course, you set up a dummy e-mail account. Then, you register with eBay with dummy info. Get the zip code and area code for, say, Las Vegas, and use the info to register.

If you hit a Rowsdower, you get to keep it.

If I were Daggerdude, I'd get my negative feedback in quick.

Mind you, eBay would be breaking the law if they tried to oblige you to complete a transaction that contained illegal materials.

Well, I am on the phone with eBay's investigative center. It appears zabe is in for a bit of trouble. I even sent the link to the infringement page to him. What do you think, NancyG? I'm curious as to your opinion.

Hi-

I think if your an honest seller, you would build a nice base of customers, I remember see'ing a dvd about how a successful business man named Farrel, he owns a bunch of ice cream joints, talking about how to please the customer, it was called "Give them the Pickle" basically when a customer ordered a meal you give him a little extra and say thank you.

I try to do this with most of my auctions, throw in an extra module I dont need and leave a thank you note in the package. It really does go a long way to creating a good customer base.

Shilling, cheating and  selling copyrighted materiel and so on is not cool and really destroys the eBay expairience.

All of zabe's auctions start out with a token bid from paraderty's account.

Hmmm....good thought. Course, in breaking the law, Zabe is just asking for us to "GIVE HIM THE PICKLE" 8O  8O

...good shiller name that... "Thepickle"...

If a wack buys something from him and gets eBay to divulge this address before leaving negative feedback, we could all post him something. :D

Here is a copy of a report sent to Ebay about Zabe73:

Report problems with other eBay members > Problems with sellers > Seller

is bidding on his/her own item with another User ID

Reported Seller: zabe73

Reported Buyers: paradert4

Item number(s): 5173126818

5172806752

5172805263

5172802449

5172801704

5172800355

5172799258

5172798012

Customer concern: Not only is this seller selling illegal copyrighted

material, but he is also shilling his own auctions and leaving positive

feedback for each back and forth. Here is a link to the bidder in

question:

Welcome to eBay

It is absolutly ridiculous that this seller has been already reported a

multitude of times for copyright infringement and nothing has been done,

but now it is very obvious he is ALSO shilling his own auctions as well.

An email has already been sent to the legal department from Wizards of

the Coast for review and follow up. Based on the lack of action at this

point and being this seller is located in California, it makes me wonder

if there isn't somebody already working at Ebay that is covering up for

this sellers actions. If that is the case, I would figure that legal

action against Ebay would be VERY appropriate. A copy of this report

will also be forwarded directly to the Wizards of the Coast legal

department. Your prompt attention to this would be greatly appreciated.

I wonder what Ebay's reponse to this is going to be. Probably nothing as usual

I would also suggest that everyone on this site who cares anything about this hobby to send an email very similar to this one to Ebay. At this point I am also seriously considering sending a story to several major media outlets to see if they will pick up the story on Ebay's total lack of action in clear cut copyright infringement cases.

Look at this guy, I am really starting to get pissed now. He is even cancelling his shill bidder's bids so he doesnt have to record retractions for them to see what the high bid is:
