That is great. I am sure pdfkilla, whitey, billj and all the others before them appreciate the help. I'm sure shilling is a lonely business.

Hey Killjoy, I don't think it would have mattered much, it looks to me like that auction is already very well in hand.

mind you though.....in all fairness to the guy, i appreciate he SHOULDNT be trying to sell stuff like that...once i won the "item" and then realised that it was only copies...when i raised that with him, he respectfully said thats fine and i didnt need to pay and that was that. so was no biggie to me in the end.

still out of order tho and it really naffs me off that ppl DO get away with it.

It is copyrighted, therefore only WoTC can sell it.

that kinda thing annoys the hell out of me. if we can get some "whack"-type-peeps to go look at the item, maybe we can spoil the guy's nice 100% feedback record?

I sent a NICE mail to the fellow, saying that - if he didn't know - he's committing copyright infringement, and this shoul piss off a few people - especially on Ebay. In fact, this kind of offense - copying copyrighted electronic material of which you don't own the rights - in Italy it's punished with a jail penalty and a steep fine. 8)

Let's wait and see what the seller says in regards to the email sent, but I may know someone who collects those CD's.... Rumors I hear say he isn't very fond of maxwell either

I just got the reply.

Blatantly hilarious, because the old chap doesn't even THINK he's doing something illegal.

He said that, as the material is OOP, probably the fact isn't a problem, and well, the .pdf are not self-made, and even WOTC sells them on their site.

Well, he was polite enough to thank me for the information, though.
