But feel free to do it yourself.

Not sure if he can do anything about the cartoons.  But passed that on as well.

Wow!  They're all history.  Someone is really acting fast at the moment.  :D

Reported.

It's a three-day German auction, ending on monday. 3 CDs full of Planescape material with BIN.

I have informed the seller about the auction being reported.

I have no secondary eBay ID. If someone wants to act and kill the auction, please go ahead.

I saw that auction and wondered too.  It doesn't seem (after reading it 3 times) that he's selling any books or modules in PDF form.

I am also adding to the auction a CDROM FULL of tons of D&D material! Included are printable character sheets for Paladins, Rogues, Wizards, Clerics, Bards, Barbarians, Fighters, Oriental Adventures. Creature player-characters, 3.5 characters, Psionics. Also in the CD are special character sheets, from generic to ultra detailed, from black and white to color! Also included are SPELL sheets for all classes. Included is a DIGITAL character sheet to keep track on your computer your PC's progress. On the CD you will find 2 types of critical hit charts; no more borring double damage or triple damage on a critical hit, now on a successful critical your PC's will be chopping off limbs, breaking ribs and poking out eyes! Along with the critical hit charts you will get 2 fumble charts to balance out those criticals. Fumbles include tripping and falling to the dreaded "critical hit friend"! Almost every feat from all the D&D 3 edition books are on the CD (Oriental Adventures, Players Handbook, Sword and Fist, Masters of the Wild, Song and Silence, Defenders of the faith, Tome and Blood, Savage Species and MORE). Also I am throwing in a combat reference sheet for the Dungeon Masters out there to keep track of all the action.

I think what he's done is collected stuff off the net that's 'Public Domain' and created a collection.  The feats listings are very 'grey area' though. Not sure how that works.

Probably violates someone's copyright since most stuff I've ever seen even if 'free' states you can't sell it.

However, I did not get the impression he's selling pdf books or modules so IMHO, this one is within the lines. (perhaps barely).

The listing makes it sound like he went to the trouble of making his own pdf's.  Surely not?!?  Do I smell a whiff of bullshit?

Hi

The cost to the bidder is the cost of the CD and the time taken for me to scan my collection. As you can see I am selling a service rather than a product and the bidder must be in possession of the original copies. The idea being it saves them time scanning their own copies. If you send me written proof that this auction is illegal, I will be more than happy to remove it from ebay.

Kind Regards

Gwrinkle (kyle)

That is the reply I got.

I have been reporting the TSR stuff to [email protected].

All I do is send the link and give the email the title "Report sellers who commit copyright infringement" and they have generally been cancelled within a day or two.  Although I have never received any communication back from Andrew.

Not sure who you would report the MERP stuff to though.  If you report them to eBay the auction will probably be over before they do anything.

Any idea who owns the rights?

Nope. Still not aware that it is though. When eBay suspends me, then
I'll believe that I talked with god. Have a nice day your worshipfulness and
please continue policing ebay...you fucking loser.

That is the reply I got when I e-mailed him about it. Shill time.
