Hi,

I bought a copy of The  Keep On The Borderlands through e bay for a bit of 80s nostalgia and to be honest I'm not sure how complete it is. All the pages seem to be there but there doesn't seem to be a map of the Keep itself.  With such detailed descriptions of rooms in The Keep I'd assume there was a map, although to be honest my memory isn't good enough to recall exactly. Nor does there seem to be an "Area MAp" (page 12) with my copy. Could someone please clarify?

Hi, welcome to the forums.  Yes, you are missing the center map inserts.  There are four unnumbered pages that came between pg. 14-15.  The first contains a Wilderness Map of the area, the second contains a map of the Keep, the 3rd contain combat & equipment reference tables and the  4th contains more reference info.  The last pages contain a Guild House Floor plan map, a sheet of blank graph paper and a Non-Player Character Roster sheet (these are sometimes detached).

Yes those are there, but the others aren't. Well I'm a bit disappointed but I don't suppose it's worth  pursuing with the seller. It was still a good nostalgia trip despite it's incompleteness.

I am always forgetting to get this complete, but here is a link to a little list I created.  It's main purpose is to show what inserts are included with earlier AD&D/D&D modules (before they numbered everything and listed them on a Table of Contents).

It doesn't look that good since it is an excel file saved as a web page.  To view the excel file:
