My collection is 400 - 500 books/modules etc. They're currently mostly stored at my folks house as there's not room for them at my current place.

I'm not sure what my other half will make of the collection when we move in together in six months time...

I do have some "reading" quality copies of various common rulebooks etc. that I store under my bed. The other day she found all these books and magazines under there and I was a bit embarassed. Though, I suppose some men keep more shameful magagazines under their beds than I do!

No idea how many. Lessee, there's more than 100 linear feet of RPG stuff on shelves, and then more than a thousand cubic feet of part-boardgames part-RPG-boxed, and then there's the stuff in storage (4000+ boardgames), and a hundred or two manuscripts and in-production manuscripts (like the recent MFA), and then original art too...

I suppose I oughta count it all some day.

But yeah, Strat and the BurntBros prolly have me beat. What Strat didn't tell you is that most of his is prime-grade, like a Dragon #1 in Mint that I sold a few years back... and Tim Kask's personal autographed Brownbox. (Sorry if I'm giving away secrets, Strat.)

Gotta come clean.

Out of curiosity I actually ran the count option on excel (I am a level one novice) to try and get some better numbers. Looks like my AD&D/D&D estimate is about 100 items too high. The rest of the stuff is closer, maybe rip another 50 items off the total.

Sure looks like a more ...  8O

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

Its amazing how the numbers creep up on you.

Did the excel 'thing' and came up with around the 350 mark for items up to AD&D - I don't collect anything newer than that.
Tack on another 420 odd for magazines and that would pretty much be my lot.
Remodelling the study soon so I'll finally be able to display them and ge them out of storage boxes.

Judging from some of the collections, the sale of 'guard cat' tranquilizer darts just increased for those looking at some midnight raids.

HUGE KUDOs to those that have posted pics - some pretty fantastic collections that I can only dream of.....

I do not think I even have half of them!  I got tired of buying these quite some time ago, I only buy what I use in the game now.

Just so long as they aren't book-eating shelves.   :?

My collection isn't nearly as big as those found in this topic...
But, I am more of a D&D player than a collector. I have been actively playing basic D&D for almost 11 years now (started when I was 10 years of age). I still play with almost the same group of players all this time. I play about three times a month on average, so that totals very mucht D&D.....
Anyway, we do have almost all basic D&D products, we still need a few more and most of the rares are beyond our pricerange.

How many of you can say that you have played almost all of the basic D&D adventures? We played all B-series adventures except B10 (which we will play later this year), all X-series adventures except X10-13 (X10 doesn't fit in out campaign, X11 and X12 are still missing in our collection and we will play X13 this summer. We are actively playing the CM series now, most of our characters are about 20th level. All players have 2 or three characters which we alternate to keep it interesting and varied. We have played CM1,2,5,7 and 8 so far, we are currently playing CM4.
M and IM modules are above our experience level.

We have played all solo adventures, all four blackmoor adventures, the adventures found in the AC series,  the four DDA modules, some mini adventures and a few 1rst ed. AD&D stuff (converted into D&D). We made some adventures ourselves too.

Nicely done! That is a LOT of mods.
I don't know of anyone who has played in every mod (some are just unplayable), but I think most of us have played in the lion's (cougar's?) share. I've played most of the Role Aids as well, and a whole ton of non-TSR stuff.

If you hit a Rowsdower, you get to keep it.
