I'm going to have to stick to 1st class shipping to Canada (vs flat rate envelope).  That got there in 2/3 the time at 1/3 the cost.

I haven't really found that one service is any faster than another between the Canada and the US.  The Surface vs Airmail options seem to be about the same to the US.  I think 1st class mail probably goes airmail but it is often faster than priority.

For the two priority boxed I received from TLG during their sale, one took 9 days and the other 5 (I think) - its very hit and miss.

Even expedited packages can take a while. The reason, as I am told, is that anything coming out of Canada (or into the States from somewhere else) gets routed through New York City... so its a huge bottleneck of crap. Maybe its just East Coast-bound things, as it seems odd that something going from British Columbia to Los Angeles would need to travel all the way to NYC first....

I defer to Mars' experience, and agree it can be all over the place... my vote for priority is in that those envelopes never seem to get bent in half to fit the mailbox... not always true with first class   :?

Thank you Center_Stage for an amazing item which arrived safely.  Having your Dragolisk miniature included made the transaction even better! :)

Just a quick note to mention that a couple modules from Guy Fullerton arrived safely today.  I ordered his module F1 The Fane of Poisoned Prophecies along with Thorkie's (from DF) GS1 Sanctum of the Stone Giant Lord during that free shipping combo blitz he offered.  Both look like an interesting read so I will need to find some time :)

The item was mailed out on May 18th from San Jose, CA so it took 15 days to get here.  I've decided to keep track of shipping times for a while to see what realistic estimates are.

I know it's not a private sale, as such, but I believe Noble Knight is represented on this web site so I'll take the opportunity to thank them for a really excellent transaction. They display a care and attention that's far closer to an Acaeum style private sale than your typical company order fulfillment. The packaging, for example. Somebody took time over that, to ensure my items arrived in top condition. A priority box with a package inside wrapped in reams of packing paper, enclosed in a flat rate envelope with each item individually bagged. And they broke the record on shipping time from the States to the UK. Magnificent and I really appreciate it. That's the way I try and treat people when I sell and it's a big bonus when it's reciprocated. I'll be doing business with them again.
