Thanks to Badmike for a free paperback copy of Sterling Lanier's "Hiero's Journey". Mike gave away a bunch of "DMG Appendix N"-type novels on Dragonsfoot:

http://www.dragonsfoot.org/forums/viewt ... 8&start=77

"Hiero's Journey" is mentioned in the Foreward (by Tom Wham & Timothy Jones) of the 1st Edition Gamma World rulebook, along with "The Long Afternoon of Earth" (aka "Hothouse") by Brian Aldiss, "Starman's Son" by Andre Norton and Ralph Bakshi's "Wizards" film.

Not a sale/seller but a huge thumbs up to BC for giving me a heads up on an auction.

He noticed something I hadn't and was decent enough to let me know.

(Brian - you were right, thought he seller was pretty decent about it - and then it wasn't an issue anyway!! )

Kudos, once again, to BClarkie. :D

Thanks! I've received poorly packaged and trashed items from eBay purchases before and try hard not to let my buyers feel that same dissapointment...

I'm glad that you got the figures alright, Paul.  I was starting to worry when I didn't hear anything from you.

BTW, I ought to have your next lot of stuff ready soon.  I'll contact you with an update or two soon.

Hey, Beyondthebreach!

The Dragon magazines arrived today...in a box so heavy the postal carrier was relieved that she didn't  have to carry it.

Thanks a bunch for the opportunity to fill so many gaps in my collection at such a nice price!

Also, thanks for all your very kind courtesies to me.

I wanted to drop a note of thanks to two fine fellows that I have been trading/selling to as of late.  The first is Radovarl.  He has been a gentleman and a scholar as we have worked through a couple deals that sent some early modules his way.  Thanks David for being an excellent trader.

The second mention goes to Center_Stage_Hobbies.  I was able to fill a few holes in Matt's collection and got some nice Ral Partha figures in exchange.  Matt is a true class act and a hell of a nice guy to boot.  I think others will find him a welcome voice to the hobby.

Yeah, that's the heaviest box I ever packed up!  It's amazing how much weight Dragon Magazines can add up to!
