I wanted to start this thread so that people could expound on any private deals or sellers that they wish.
I recently purchased a lot of MERP items from red_bus. Not only did he ship them quickly, they were in great shape, and I thought that the price was very fair. I'd recommend him to anyone.

BTW, Foul, if this warrants a sticky it would be really helpful.

I just had a very happy transaction with "Bad Mike" from Texas - excellent items quickly shipped and well packed too. You can visit his eBay store at:

Whoa, now everyone is going to start wanting to drive over and pick up their stuff!!!! Better stock up on snacks and drinks. 8O

Seriously, thanks guys.  I try to treat buyers like I want to be treated.  Except for DungeonDweller who got his stuff shipped late last month, sorry about that...otherwise I hope I'm doing a good job.

Mike...

You should have snacks on hand.....

But have whoever is picking up items bring the beer.....

That way, you get some nice regional microbrews (a whole other collection).

If I come down from CT, I'll bring you some Whale Tail Pale Ale (no joke - it's brewed on Nantucket Island).

Dave, get the barbarian in the corner a drink, quick!

Is that really any good?  I make my way up to Cape Cod, MA. every summer and I am always willing to give stuff like that a shot.  If it is I will have to give a roll this year.

I've recently bought from a few of you guys (and ladies) and have yet to have anything but a great experience.

For those who are new to the board (and there seem to be a lot of them, recently, which is nice to see), Frank, aka Deadlord39, is one of the best you can hope to deal with.

Other members that I've had great experiences with in private deals include (in no particular order):

bclarkie
killjoy32
Plaag

and, of course, Aneoth, who is no longer active here.  He deserves a special thanks, though, for some great deals when I was a newbie here.  I might have forgotten someone...and if so will post them when I remember.

I've also dealt with several other members here through ebay, and it's always been a pleasure.

I did an off-eBay deal with zhoward not too long ago. It went like clockwork.

Well, it wasn't a private sale, but it deserves more than ebay feedback.

The Mordenkainen ms arrived today, and I'm absolutely stunned.  I cannot believe I was lucky enough to win it.  Holding this item in your hands...unbelievable.  Frank deserves a huge gesture of thanks for making it available, and it was packaged and shipped in 100% professional fashion.

The rest of my modest collection is suffering a serious case of envy right now.

Manuscript envy, it'll tear families (and collections) apart...  :P

Two members here who have recently delivered superb, swift and well-priced items to a humble collector - and who consequently deserve honourable mention.
