all these name changes, man i cant keep up! i dont look at the site for a few days and come back, and there are loads of un-familiar names :)

my "killjoy" ID was from way back in the Doom PC game days, when we used to link up and play multi-player. I carried it over onto Quake when that came out and then changed it to Killjoy32, cos um i was 32 at the time :) prb should update it now to Killjoy37 or something, but ya know? i cant be arsed and it doesnt sound right somehow, so i think i will just stay the same.

killjoy32 is my ebay ID anyway, so no reason to change it tbh.

Only added the colour ...  :)

BTW, I'd like to have an avatar. How can I do that?
I know, I know ... it's a silly question, but I'm quite stupid ...
I've found a beautiful image (http://www.theonering.net/scrapbook/view/12628) but it seems to me a game card and I don't want to have problem with copyright ... :?

What do you think?
Thank you

Giorgio

David, your new avatar is wonderful.

Did I tell you about the time I met Peter Matthiessen and he regaled us with stories about his snow leopard expedition with George Schaller?

Did you take the pic?

Was saving one along that line for later, Ian! ;)

(Actually I'm rather fond of cougs (though I couldn't eat a whole one), which is one of the few reasons I can think for why I ever thought to buy from D.M. Dave despite the "warning signs"...)

I take it eBay ID 'jimship1' is someone here's new secret identity?

What makes you think it's not the seller's secret identity?

Okay, who thinks the Dungeoneers auction is being shilled?

Looks pretty suspicious.

i think there has to be no doubt really. for someone pretty new (6 feedback) would have absolutely no idea that they are pretty damn rare as items go and be willing to throw that much money at them. and as frank has said on another thread, he has only bid on items relating to the same seller...

very dodgy

Well, it isn't me, despite the "ship" part.  A check of my purchases will reveal nothing like the bidding jimship1 is doing.

No. I don't think it's ashill bidding. The buyer has been buying from other people. I think it may be a known buyer just starting up a new account so the same old names don't keep cropping up.

If that's the case, my next question is who has a similar bidding style? It's unlikely to be any of the usual snipers, if they were to start a new account, I doubt they's change their bidding style. People snipe because they have a good chance of winning and hope to keep the price low.

So who are the early bidders with money and an interest in non-TSR?
