Due to several requests recently, I've decided to allow you to change your username if you wish to.  You can change it via your profile.

Before everyone rushes to do so:  I highly discourage it.  The most you will accomplish by doing so is to thoroughly confuse everyone.  However, for those of you who signed up while in the midst of a drunken stupor, this provides you a possible avenue to reclaim your dignity.

As usual, anyone abusing the privilege will have this privilege taken away.  * I * can still see exactly who you are, and I will take a dim view of anyone switching names for the purpose of harassing others.

Just to be upfront I just changed mine from "Daimajin" to "Lordan". I did this because A) It was the original user name I hade when I first registered here years ago but because I never posted it was deleted ( had stopped collecting anyways at that time ) so created Daimajin when I returned to collecting because it was my current email addy. Also B) It's my Ebay user ID so now you can bitch at me if I snipe you on something :)

As you've just demonstrated Lordan, this would also be a good topic to post your username changes to, so everyone's aware of it!

Dropped the "1" from my handle to make it match my Ebay handle...shouldn't be too confusing.

I figured I would change mine to match my Ebay handle as well...not that it was any big secret or anything.  I just wanted to feel special too.  :D

Thank God the 89 doesnt signify anything having to do with my age or my IQ.

So that then begs the question of what does it stand for?  The Police song came out in 1983 so that's not it either.....

For Lordan, your avatar is from A3 Aerie of the Slavelords in the Suderham city section, right?
What did you add to the picture that the fellow is now holding?  It's too tiny to see clearly.

I actually did create the handle in honor of my favorite Police tune.  And '89 is the year I graduated from high school.  Besides...Synchronicity69 just didnt have the right ring to it.

Capitalized the "B" in Beyondthebreach.  (man, that was really bugging me - you know what else drives me nuts . . .  the absolute insane number of people who can't be bothed to capitalize their names, address, cities and states when they input their ebay/paypal address!  Drives me f**king nuts!)

I used to be afoolandhis$.

Now, I'm just a fool.  My new username is a closer match to my ebay id.  Tom Bombadil was my favorite character in LoTR.

The label from an Old Milwaukee :) Tried Guiness but it looked 10X's worse so instead went with the beer that was 10X's worse :D ( But I do still love it for some insane reason )

That could probably be applied to most of us after discovering the Acaeum plus eBay.

Yeah, it took me a while to figure out that eBay's bombadil was the same as afoolandhis$ here.
I kept thinking this bombadil guy should be on the Acaeum forums until I made the connection.  The pipe-smoking avatar guarantees you'll always be instantly recognizable here even if you change your ID.

Formerly Achizar, changed to Pointy Stick to be consistent with my username at dragonsfoot.org, where I'm much more prolific.  There seems to be a lot more crosspollenation from here to there and vice versa lately, so I thought this might help keep me straight at least.

Still different on ebay though (zkrusty).

I actually prefer to have different user names at different points of the WWW, but I can see everyone's point of wanting more simplicity.

Anyway, just for clarification, if you come across any eBay items or bids from TheDukester, that is me (although I'm pretty much out of the game). But I'm going to stick with Xaxaxe here.

Been ex-TSR employee since autumn 1986, ExTSR on AOL since 1990, and ExTSR on eBay for a few years.

No reason to change.

Sheesh.  I go away for a couple of days and the board's overrun with newbies.   :)   Incidentally, 3428 has nothing to do with my age.
