Well, thats our old friend Creep1962.  Not only can you count on it being totally over graded, but if you buy it today you just might be able to get before the first day of spring.  This of comes with the privledge of spending $13 for shipping via first class mail with no protection and don't you dare think of leaving him negative feedback, even if the item sucks, he either flat out ignores you emails or sends you profanity laced ones about how you are such a moron for questioning the great Creep1962, and it takes him 3 months to mail it to you, as long as you do receive it you should have no reason to leave him a neg.  In Creep's opinion the only reason that anyone should ever leave negative feedback is if you don't recieve the item, otherwise you should be kicked off of Ebay.

Have to give a shout out to Creepy, thanks to the big guy.  No telling how many Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil's he's helped me sell for $50 with that nice $140 price in his store.  I put it up in the store, boom, it's gone in a week.  Anyone trolling for one only has to come across Creepy and T&T to realize how underpriced my copy is! Thanks to Creepy and T&T for helping my Ebay store run so smoothly..... :D

And I thank you again for... the 'wash'
So I have got a R set and RPGA1 & RPGA2, all from private sales here.

It seems that I am seriously addicted to collecting...  :( ...  :D

Sweet! :D

Worth having another glance to see whether there's anything else under there?

Question, I think! ;)

Hmm... trouble is there have been so many swaps since then that it might be difficult to give a precise number any longer.
Approximate and relative rarity of the various mods might still be of interest, however.
(And I'll even have a dig around here, if so).

Well, I no longer have the data that were PM'd to me way back when.

However, gut feeling:  R4 is the rarest of them all.   :D

Would also agree ... I ended up with several of R1, R2, and R3 but R4 only 1.

Okay, I only have an R1.

Since it seems like everyone on here has at least 2-3 copies of the rest, anyone care to sell a poor, depived semi-avid collector one?  :D

youre gonna be lucky to get your hands on an R3 or R4 - they are extremely hard to get and prb hold the most value out of em all.

though the RPGA's are just as hard to pin down too.

and its no good playing the pauper around here chummer :)

I have a set of R1-4 (1-3 in shrink) that I bought at one of the early UK GenCons (1990ish).

Someone (possibly from TSR/RPGA, my memory is a bit hazy) had a small box full of them that they were selling for around £5 each IIRC.

Anyone who didn't post the first time around (geez, almost 3 years ago already) care to join in?

Thanks,
Stephen
