How's it going gang…

It's been a while, hurricane Wilma tore 25% of the roof off the new game hall, and destroyed the electrical system, leaving us without power for a sustained period of time…

Fortunately, the collection was unharmed and the irreplaceable treasures were securely tucked away.

It did dampen sprits and there has been a long road to recovery. But, we've actually been sort of back up and running for almost two months now with revamped fire. We're going to be setting up the Dwarven Forge display booth at this year's Gen Con for their 10th anniversary.

So get ready for a miniature display beyond imagination, as we're pulling together severely of the top gaming crews from around the world to lend their talents.

Looking foward to meeting some of the Acaeum members also! So stop on by...

As far as the question titling this thread, I'd say our Crown Jewel would be the actual TSR company sign, or Rob Kuntz's original gaming dice used in the first D&D games ever played…

The dice in my original Holmes set are so worn the d20 basically will roll forever until its manually stopped.

I don't have any jewels as such - if I had managed to keep any of my character sheets from 25 years ago they would qualify, but the only items I kept from the heyday was a DMG and MM.

The pieces I like best in my collection are a copy of Space Gamer #1, a Guidon Chainmail, and the original manuscript for the Snits Revenge game.

Hopefully I'll add more gems over the next few years....

Someone's got excellent taste, IMO!

You'll have to remind me whether I ended up as underbidder on the Wham ms., too, but I certainly was on the others (hidden 2nd Chainmail! *g*).
Ben Ostrander was particularly keen to hold on to his other SG #1, it seemed...

No problem.... I saw it a few days ago and thought I'd bid if it stayed cheap (that way I could keep one copy mint, and maybe run some lions through their paces with the other).

Worth $10 just to read the rules IMO.

    Everyone is too worried about everyone else's sensitivities.  I thought this game was funny when it came out and I still do.  Ironic that anyone might find it offensive, since it is about how Christianity heroically prevailed against persecution.  There was a pretty good Gary Larson, Far Side cartoon that showed Christians and lions checking out the signup sheet for their matches.
