Well I post good feedback the same day that I ship the items. It lets me know where I am. If they want to give me feedback great..if not well hey....

I describe accurately and ship securely so feedback has always been good.

However (and this I believe where Ebay fails sellers big time) is when the NPB (read : loser) never contacts you. 1 month and 5 emails later (no reply) you file NPB and leave a negative. Usually (this has happened to me twice) the guy logs on about 2 weeks later and give a retaliatory negative.

This has lead me to a policy of not leaving negative feedback (I just don't leave any in cases like this).  Kinda defeats the object of feedback but hey I'm one seller to loads of deadbeat bidders.

I personally feel that if you go through squaretrade and the buyer doesn't reply to Squaretrade you should be immune to his feedback.

However guess it must be too expensive for Ebayto do this...

Of course you can pay $20 for squaretrade to mediate and remove your neg feedback. Of course when your selling a copy of X1 for $1.50 then $20 is a lot....

Hi All,

I really feel Ebay falls down on this.

I have never posted negative or even neutral feedback on anyone.

Partly this is cos I dont want the retaliatory Bad left about me (yes this is selfish I know).

Even when a seller ripped me for 2K I never left bad feedback about him (mind, I was trying to get the item from him at the time).

If someone is prepared to give bad service they usually dont care about bad feedback anyway. There is always SOMEONE who will bid on most items if they look like a bargain.

Cheers,

Karen

Wow, if somebody ripped me off for 2k, I think I'd make it a special point to track that person down and break a few bones...  isn't it grand larceny at that point?

Darnit! Another ebay team under one name. First Burntwire INC now Lawrenson INC. :D I may have to look into a merger with someone.

Do you have any extra Player Association Newsletters or Broadsheets? I have a few holes in my run to fill. Nice job on that auction a week or so ago.

Later.

Adam

Jeez...

I was really happy to have started such a popular thread and then it turns into a name calling session...

Why doesn't everybody go to their neutral corner and cool off...

In the meantime, here's something better to think about...

Sit on my face and tell me that you love me,

I'll sit on your face and tell you I love you, too.

I love to hear you o-ra-lise

When I'm between your thighs,

You blow me awaaaay.

Sit on my face and let my lips embrace you,

I'll sit on your face and then I'll love you truly,

Life can be fine if we both sixty-nine,

If we sit on our faces in all sorts of places

And play till we're blown a-way.

                                         Monty Python

That always makes me feel better.
