Hi guys,

Over the last 5 months I've been building a tool to help me go through all the D&D auctions on ebay.

Today I'm releasing it to the public.

And you are the first guys I'm telling.

Check it out :

eBay auction search software tool | AuctionSieve

Would love to hear any feedback you guys have before I start publicising it more widely.

Thanks!

Nev

Hi Nev,

I have just downloaded your software and played around a little. Great piece of work! The setup runs smoothly and it works with NO BUGS so far. The GUI looks good, too. I'll probably post more info when I had some time to test it a little further.

One question I have though: When selecting the "Dungeons & Dragons" category eBay shows a total of 4551 auctions, while the software lists 1803. What am I doing wrong?

Funny enough I was playing aroung with my own software for eBay Germany. I'm doing it in VB and plan to use it for auction scanning similar to Olav's software. If I had only more time...

Knowing how much work is behind such a "simple" software I can't praise your software enough. Guys, please support Nev so he can keep up this great work!

Thanks Ralf!

Regarding the number of auctions - the only thing I can think of is

that you've maybe selected the subcategory 'other'.

Ebay recently added subcategories under their D&D category.

The old category id 2545 is now D&D->Other.

The new higher level category is 44109.

Go to the File menu and look at the Properties of your sieve to find what category id you're looking at.
