On rare times that I have played in the last five years my wife has always played.  She enjoyed it  immensely and if we could find a group with a bit of committment, I'm sure she'd continue to play.

BTW, the group had other females in it too.

Of my group, which currently constitutes 4 regs, only one is plus size but all are male. That said, we had a female attend a session couple weeks ago and really enjoyed it. We have another who wants to play. We'll see how that works out. I'd love to have a regular female presence at the table.

The group I play in has three women, all gamer wives.  Out of nine regulars only two of us are collectors, myself and one of the wives (she is a white wolf collector).  Everyone else just plays and owns the books they need for the games (they all look at me funny when I discuss collecting).

oh yeah i get the "geek" comment quite a lot. i look at a book sometimes and say "oh yeah thats a 3rd print" and they just look at me with one of them withering looks :)

There were a few gamer girls in our groups over the years. No more than five or six total, and I don't recall more than two in any given game.

Hopefully she isnt anything like the woman I used to date.  Not only did she love comic books as much as I did but she was stunning to look at...gorgeous face, great body, sexy as hell.  She was also crazy as a loon.  When we broke up she thought I had stolen her Gambit comics and her Fleetwood Mac cd.  I hate Gambit and would rather listen to the Teletubbies crap themselves.

When I found out that her favorite show was Sailor Moon I should have listened to my instincts and cut and run then.  But nooooo.... :twisted:
