Probably right, in general, but I'm 6'1" and 175lbs!

Over all the years I played, there was only one girl who joined us, and she was a regular.  On top of it, she was GORGEOUS.  I swear, I'm not exaggerating, she was beautiful, and very well-endowed.  All of that aside, she was also smart, funny, and a hell of a D&D player.  She liked illusionists (I mean playing them; I mean she liked being one; ah, hell, you get it).  The only downside to having her in the games was we all got so damned distracted, for obvious reasons.

My god, now that I think about it, I need to go someplace quiet and cry this one off.  She would have made the perfect partner...

Poor Fool *pat*pat*  :P

My current 3e game is 50% female, the FR game is 60% female.
All are good looking and busty (no joke I'm married to one of them ;) ).

In general the pattern is for male and overweight, I fit this description but no one else in my group does (weight problems is an ongoing family issues on my side).

But each instance can vary.  I've seen mostly female games, and games were females are taboo.

But not me, bring on the mixing of the sexes in gaming. :)

(plus female gamers are the best fighters, very vicious).

I have had several girls in my RPG groups, but only one of them was to be called a *good* player.

I did the next best thing...I recruited my incredibly hot wife into gaming.

And, yes, most of the males in my game are overweight.

Only one female player in our group but plays a male character. Two of the male players play female characters (I'm one of them) and I also get to play the female NPC in the group too. On the whole, I prefer to play female characters and my character is a viscious, nasty Tempuran Warrior/Priestess who bullies the male characters. She'd bully the group's leader if she wasn't female too :D

Incidentally our groups female player once won a Macho Women with Guns tournament at a convention. It had gone to her and one other female player in the final and our Justine won by reducing the other girl to tears due to her "playing style". I'm glad she plays an easy-going halfling Rogue in our campaign!

I'm the slimmest in the group n the group but the youngest at 35 so I've got time to catch up!

I think every group I've played with since junior high has had atleast one female player.  Of course in grade school we didn't play with girls because they had cooties.

My wife, unfortunately, doesn't play.  She's tried a couple of times but never really got the attraction of it.  Despite that, she is quite supportive of my gaming activities and collecting; althought I'm glad she wasn't paying attention during the_collectors_trove auction last night.

Never had a female player in my groups.
But I've had a lot of male players who preferred female character.

BTW, Brian ... I think your poll is too difficult
For me at least ...
What gender I am?
Who I am?  :?
Where I'm going to?  :?

Not sure

No more vodka at breakfast

Have a nice day :D

Odd.

The percentages all go to the previous integer, rather than rounding.

On rare times that I have played in the last five years my wife has always played.  She enjoyed it  immensely and if we could find a group with a bit of committment, I'm sure she'd continue to play.

BTW, the group had other females in it too.
