I have never seen it before, and even with some editing and blow up of the image the logo, do not match anything that is with the time line and date as I can tell, I am definatly not an expert but I would think if it would have had on eof the logo's used at that time.

Hmm oh well it is definatly interesting and Neat to see something I never new existed. ( or does it?)  LOL

yup, a first print basic rulebook from England. I saw it and was considering making a run. You can see some spine creases and a few chips...but the picture is not of high enough quality to make a true assessment. These usually show up every couple of months or so.

Hi All,

I've asked the seller, and its the blue-backed version.

Personally, I think its one of the rarest d&d items.

Although a few have surfaced on Ebay in the last couple of years, prior to that even the acaeum had it as "possibly not existing".

I've not seen many of them over here in the UK either, and generally the condition is very poor (its was the basic rulebook after all!).

Cheers,

Malcolm

Looks like Devon made his catch on the other one ... Maybe now there are more to follow?

Wow, 102 bucks for this rulebook? I feel lucky having bought mine for 50 pounds and it was in really good conditions. It was a first printing too. Yes, I have a soft spot for British D&D items...
