I've never seen it, but I don't particularly like Meryl Streep, and her trying to do an Aussie accent just makes me want to hurl...

i didnt actually think it was that bad - her accent that is.

sam neill is pretty painful to watch in that film. did they really wear shorts that tight ?!

hey chaps!

rigt got an e-mail back from my aussie friend today, to tell me that i now have a place reserved on the 2007 Marathon Des Sables....so here we go again  8O

i am applying through Australia, so will utilise an addy from them there parts when i need to (september is deposit time apparently - thats how they do theirs).

will keep y'all posted when i know more!

Great you will end up sounding like a bad Hollywood movie ... the ones where they always use a British actor to play an Aussie because of course no one could ever tell the difference.  :roll:

well then theres a lot of british actors in them aussie soaps that we get over here "mate" :D

mind you i dont think i could cope with watching them things to learn the lingo. one thought in that direction is enough to make me cringe!
