These items were not distributed in shrinkwrap, as far as I know. Plus the shrinkwrap seems a bit odd in the picture. Therefore I believe they were shrinkwrapped by the seller (or at least not in factory).

Experts' opinion?

Yesh, I hav bin jest a bit...
This is part of the reason I never collected shrinked items. Had someone not picked up on the fact that these were never shrinked to begin with, we never would have known the seller was a rewrapper. How many beat-up modules do you think he's sold as "shrinked"?

Speaking of fakes and fraud.... :?

Last night I surfed Amazon.com with a search for "Gamelords."  The result was a Thieves Guild #9 priced at nearly $40.....and a copy of THE COMPLETE TAVERN, for which no picture was posted.

  Sound familiar?

Recently, a seller hawking copies of The Compleat Tavern appeared on Ebay.  He was selling copies with a strange, pink cover and obviously photocopied interior pages.

Asked to give a provenance for his multiple copies of this item....the seller just got pissy.  He also re-listed the item without a picture.

After multiple complaints from Acaeum members to Ebay, this item disappeared from Ebay.

Now, another post for the same item appears on Amazon and there is no picture.

  Sounds familiar.

I've flagged up the Gamelords fakes on my site. If I come across other fakes of anything I've listed and I can get a photo, I'll post those fake warnings as well.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . minestrone soup.
