Hey... Nev was back around, too: not one of the few who's managed to escape yet, then? :)

Al

Shouldn't that be:

"WahhhhhhaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyYY!

Right on!

Neat; I say neat...!

Cool, daddy-O!

Just what I'd've wanted to go with my Tegel Manor and other assorted JG collection!

Hey. Have you heard about my trip across the Sahara in search of the lost Pharaoh? No? Well it started when...."

After 10,000 posts, are we all going to be "Dust Bunny Collectors"?

Man, I am NOT going to make the transition to Long-Winded. Although I guess this post puts me one step closer.....

no pharaoh's and stuff  where i am going - thats waaaaaaaaaaaaay to the east somewhere...all we get is sand, more sand and oh look, some sand :)

i was weighing my stuff last night and you know what....my food weighs twice as much as my other stuff  8O early signs are that my pack is gonna weigh somewhere around 8KG-9KG which would be really good, seen as Ben FOgles was 15KG when he did this in 2004. each days food supply weighs about 750g.

when i get there, i get given my fuel for cooking, an emergency flare and salt tablets, so thats about another 800g or so.

ho hum.

:)

Are we nearly there yet?

My point, exactly.  Just say no to sports involving emergency flares.
