Based on the feedback so far on the Rarity of the Rares poll, here are the entries for the rarest of them all. Which do you own? I want to put some numbers on these items so we can get a feel for which is the rarest of them all.

If you think something should be added to this poll, post it below.

(edit.  Two problems right off the bat:  I'm not sure you can cast more than one vote, and I had to limit the poll to the listed number of entries.  So a few things got left out, and I can't add more.)

Okay, this isn't going to work the way I wanted it to.  I've been PM'd that you can't cast more than one vote.

I could post 8 or 9 separate polls on whether or not you own each item.  Is that worth a shot?  I'd really be interested in getting some numbers that would allow us to rank the Rares based on real data.

Why not just have people post what they have and if they are not confortable posting themselves have them PM someone who they trust to post if anonymously for them. :)

I like this suggestion.  Let's do it.

Neat list, Brian, especially those nicely-slinked SPs! :D

*lol*. Just realised I'm up to four woodies plus 4 2/3 (I think) spare sets of 1st, 2nd & 3rds.
Could've been a lot more given at least four underbids on woodies back when... (plus my original nicked 3rd print )

Gotta get a life...

Tomoachan
Inverness
Tsjoconth
10th Anniversary Set - just one
Jade Hare - no cover

Most of my rare stuff is in the cat 4 range. I also have no desire to buy non-TSR stuff.

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

And I am gonna be honest here. My copy is poor at best. I picked it up second hand way back before anyone could have guessed it would be worth anything. It was purely for playing and it got lost in a pile of stuff I did not look at for years and I even forgot I had the thing. Unlike my other stuff which was bagged and boarded because I was...well...my preciousss....

Gives away why I am on the lookout for a clean copy.

I just purchased this one. I guess it's quite rare, but I found no reference whatsoever (not even in the TSR stocklist). Am I the first one to find it?

BTW, I don't "have" this one. It has not been delivered yet, and I won't be able to say that I own it until I am sure that it has not gotten lost in mailing. Let's hope.

collectorsatthemall has been selling them off for a while. It is rare, although it pertains to Top Secret and not D&D.

Not a single one — never had any of them, never will.

The only one that holds the slightest bit of interest for me is the orange B3, but I would need to find a seriously poor eBay listing (misspelled title, poor description, wrong category, etc.) to even have a shot ... my pocketses just ain't that deep.

Hmm... just going straight through the category 5 rares list I come up with:

10th Anniversary Combo Pack (just one)
Adventurer's Guild Modules (around a dozen)
Dragon Dice (should these really be category 5?)
Dwarven Glory (1st print)
Lost Caverns of Tsojconth
Lost Tomoachan
Palace of the Silver Princess (orange)
Palace of the Vampire Queen (1st print)
Quadrille Graph Paper
Quest for the Fazzlewood (1st print)
Strategic Review #7
To the Aid of Falx (pre-publication)
