Hi all,

I was going through my collection today, making sure that everything I have is properly catalogued, and I came upon a printing of the Player's Handbook. It was in my catalogue but I hadn't recorded the printing so I went to Acaeum to check it out. I remembered that it was 9th or later because of the cover art.

The book completely agrees with all the info about the 9th print of the book with two exceptions:

1. The info in Acaeum reads: "Cover artist attribution still incorrectly refers to David Sutherland". The print that I have in my hands says in the copyright page:

"
Illustrations by David C. Sutherland III
D.A. Trampier
Cover by D.A. Trampier
"

It seems that the cover page is (incorrectly) attributed to D.A. Trampier.

2. Acaeum says: "Rear cover does not have a UPC code, a price, nor an ISBN (though a version has been spotted with an ISBN; this particular version has no sticker on the front)"

My print has an ISBN code in the rear cover AND a sticker on the front.

These two differences aside, it seems like a 9th print. Anyone knows something more?

Regards,

Thomas.

You might want to look at this earlier thread:

There are additional printings between the 9th and the 10th.  The differences are negligible, however.

Thanks for the helpful info. That explains the differences.
