I know the debate was sort of raging over copyright issues surrounding L4, but just because it is a free download does not eliminate the copyright law. L4 is clearly in violation and WoTC can come down any time they want. Maybe they will just let it go, which is most likely.

IANAL, but I disagree that L4 is clearly in violation of copyright.

Change your [Edit] avatar to something you have loaded on your hard drive or something that you have loaded onto Photobucket.

King sees it, I see it, and apparently the others have it blocked or have a stronger stomach for such things than I do.

What are you guys seeing? Its the same one I use on DF, the heraldry of the County of Idee from Greyhawk.

You guys are either putting me though the noobee initiation or its linking to something bad.

I'm going to delete it to be safe. If this is a prank, you guys win!

OK, something weird is happening with Fid's avatar. Maybe it is accidental.

OK, I deleted it. Can you confirm whatever it was is gone? I tried to come here and make a responsible post so if this a Noobee trick, I hate to see it derail this thread.

I click the link you posted and I see what it is supposed to be, the arms of Idee (Greyhawk). Same thing I see use on DF.

Guys, I have over 1,700 post at Dragonsfoot. There are regular posters both there and here who have met me and can vouch for me. I would not register here, make what I consider to be a serious post and then shoot myself in the foot with a sick porno avatar.

Ban me if you want, I have said my piece. Any Mods can contact me at the e-mail addy I registered with. All I can say is that this has been a surreal experience!

Have you seen how crazy Dragonsfoot gets? I can think of more than a handful of people who would pull a stunt like that.

However, I am willing to believe that you did not intentionally post using a sick avatar. I will edit my posts accordingly. I publicly apologize for overreacting.

I first visited URLs that were "around" your avatar's URL. They displayed normal Greyhawk coat-of-arms. Your avatar was still hardcore pr0n.

Then I cleared my browser cache and visited the URL of your avatar again. It is a normal coat-of-arms now and probably always was.
