My memory is probably shot, but weren't there a couple of Fighting Wheels up for auction about a year ago that both went for over $100?  Has interest in them dropped off a bit since then?

We have sold 2 fighting wheels and they both sold for around $75, which is about the going rate.

There was also one from Canada that sold for under $45 last year - I'm still kicking myself for not bidding but I thought it would go for more.

I sold mine in August for £50 ($79 at the time).

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

Our buddy Guido has a very hard to find set of the original AC5 character sheets up.  I have a feeling this price is going to get stupid, these don't pop up that often:

Yeah, they do go lower, 'though $75 is closer the usual mark, I agree.

Picked up a very nice looking one for what was $48 at the time; http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 8722885907

Unfortunately the seller presumed the clear plastic covering was original and neglected to mention that when asked a general question about condition (it was on the Unearthed Arcana, too, after all).

Silly me for forgetting to ask specifically...

Looks like NOBODY here picked up on that one.  Nice spot!

What was laminated, the wheel or the sleeve?  I can't tell from the pic.  Looks very nice, though, especially at that price.

*g*. Laminated wheel would be "interesting"...

Nah, I wasn't interested in a laminated sleeve, Stephen. Lost me enough in return costs, too.

Hrrr.... Just noticed that the seller immediately re-sold it at the same price as a BIN WITHOUT mentioning the laminate for a second time, having promised that they would do so. (File under "shady dealers", IMHO :(); http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 8737830262

A much better copy would've been the following at $64; http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 6583295977 , but I was still using the $48 win as a guide price.

"Item is in absolutely perfect condition, having been protected by plastic laminate to prevent the wheel from actually rotating, getting scuffed, or getting bent."

Yeah, come to think of it, that would be interesting.

Trying to revive this thread.....

Good place to post instead of lots of individual threads for rares (at least IMO, since I'm too lazy to look at all the threads and just want one stop shopping....)

Here's Chainmail (can't see what edition) and some lizard logo supplements, white box:

Partial Woodgrain...still, sometimes the box alone is worth a ridiculous price:

Funny that seller intentionally cut off the bottom of the booklets so you cant see if they are 4th or 5th print books.     WHo wants to bet that they are fifth?
