Me too, I forwarded it to [email protected].  I'd love to nuke these fools with a trojan or worm...

Funny you should mention that. I have a virus disk that I use to save any and all viruses I encounter at work. I believe I'm up to just over 57,000 different ones. I'd love to attach one and send it as "payment info", but being a security consultant, I'd risk losing one of me certifications if I got caught.
Considering that this is fraud, I'd think the FBI would follow up on some of these. A few high-profile busts would end this crap really quickly.

Set up a secure LAN with unpatched machines and watch 'em fight...it's like a virtual "Robot Wars" :)

I have a spare computer that I infect regularly with viruses I consider interesting. 4 separate hard drives, DOS6/WIN 3.1, WIN95, WIN98 and WIN2000. The older viruses are by far the best, just about all of the new ones are mail spammers, key loggers or backdoors. My favorite is probably Tentacle, picked it up back in '95. I forget the exact date, but on that date it turns all of the computer icons into tentacles.
I'll see if I still have the image file of Ripper virus. It's a data corruptor.  It would be a shame if something like that were accidentally attached to one of my outgoing e-mails, but it could happen.
Hey, would the 3E version be called Dire Ripper?

Those old Viruses are awesome.  I remember back in the very early 90's watching my dad "fight" a virus on our home computer that had come from an infected game someone downloaded from a local BBS. It seems like the thing made some sort of smily face run all over your screen and your progams wouldn't load correctly.
