Did Magicprincess E-mail you and tell you that?

I was hoping to bid on this one, my snipe failed (to low) on the first one

$1500.00 WOW!!

According to the auction description, all the pages are there. Aside from the stolen text from the site here, they have an individualized listing of all the pages:

magicprincess wrote:Some of the headers on the pages are:

Scenario

Character Sheet

Player Evaluation Sheet

General Istructions To Dungeonmasters

- A. Cavern Entrance

- B. The Ogre Den

- C. The Antechamber

- Maps

- D. The Hallway

- E. Corridor to the Back Door

- F. The Outer Sanctum

- G. Side Corridors

- J. The Inner Sanctum

Unless they are lying in the auction description I count 13. :?

I don't see how the guy responsible for the production of the module could have missed a page.

But then the auction does tell at least one lie .... 8O

The current value of this module is unknown because it is so rare that none have been know to have been sold since 1996.

She said 12. To be honest, I doubt they even counted them, just went by the erroneous Acaeum info they stole.

Thanks, Brian.  Have to say I'm surprised I won it, even at that price.

Congrats Stephen, good win!  :)  To answer Brian's earlier question, I decided since this one ended so late, and with questions around the bidders, that I'd just set my max early, go to bed and see what happened in the morning. I'm glad it worked out all around in the end.

Hey Stephen, do you get paid a mileage allowance? ;)

You don't always come second, as I can also vouch from private sales Image
Nice one; and well over where my snipe would've been, anyhow, even without the recent woodie + Tsoj.

Well, thanks for the kind thoughts, guys.  The funny (scary) thing is, before going to bed I bumped up my snipe from $1475!  Sorry, Jeff.  My god, if I hadn't done that, the thought of losing that auction by $0.99 would have driven me off the edge.

By the way, thanks to Frank for his typically spot-on insight.  Even before this auction was up and running, he told me I should be prepared to pay $1500.

Ian seemed to pick that up, too! Jeff; did you use that previous price as a target?

I'll wait until the high flyers have finished picking up their copies, thank you ;)

Best never to bid whole dollars, especially rounded to 5s or 10s, btw! :P

Maybe be it has something to do with the fact that the last one from the same seller went for  $1,475.00.

I'm assuming it is, and that they're counting the evaluation sheet as being in addition to the 12 module sheets.

HOWEVER, and that's a big however, I'll say it once again:  I was outright screwed by this seller twice on faulty descriptions.

When you were screwed was it ever resovled?  I was planning on going after this piece.

Yes.  They refunded my money in one instance, and in the other I just kept the item even though they offered a refund.
