Unless I'm mistaken, it was T&T who fuked me out of a VERY expensive auction. I'll check my notes. If so....................... muahahahaha!!!

Well that makes me toast. :P

Yeah, just as well people 'round here are pretty well informed.

I don't think that auction really needs any more hyping beyond what it actually is.

*says nothing to that second bit*

Yeah, I'd noticed that before Ian.

They've still got that VG 5th print OD&D box for a mere $266, too! :D

(Not that I'd expected that to sell, for some reason ;))

Matches up pretty well with the two experiences I had buying from their store. One was listed as a 1st print PHB, with all the details from the Acaeum, but what I received was a paultry 6th print. I even called them BEFORE making the online purchase to confirm the details and accuracy of the listing. Of course, they refunded my money after I sent it back. The second bad experience was with a "mint" Silver Anniversary Box set that arrived with a slightly crushed box that had been marked up with a Sharpie.

Anyway...live and learn, right?

Whoa there. The buff cover is 4 printed sheets? And another auction with a letter of authenticity?

This is way too weird. I'm thinking photocopies.......

Unless I'm terribly mistaken, Fazzle has 13 sheets.

Well, lumberjaques is the guy who sold the Tsojconth back in August. He also sold a different Tsojconth to Mike<improvstone> last fall. Mike bought another rare of him as well at almost the same time last year, and I am almost positve that it was also a Fazzle.

yes, If I recall, I remember asking him how many more Tsojconth's he had. He didn't give me a figure but did hint at more than one. In my imagination of course he has a box with 30 which he uses to put his TV on.

He did say that he was only going to sell them occasionally (for I suppose obvious reasons).

From the Q&A section on this auction:

Q:         Hello, Can you explain what you mean by the buff cover comprising 4 printed sheets? I thought the cover on this module was a single, folded sheet. Thank you very much.

A:         Hello--- Yes, cover is single, folded sheet. I was just trying to describe the different printing on the different sections --- front cover, inside front cover, inside back cover, back cover. It's one large sheet folded in half. Thanks. Howard

Q:         Is the cover in one piece? A wraparound?

A:         Hello--- Yes, cover is one piece --- a wraparound. Thanks. Howard

I gave you a hand. If he leads it again he is a shiller.

All newbies are not neccessarily shills, but I have a bad feeling about this one and I cant say why for sure. He is bidding on other things:

http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?V ... =25&sort=3

and he is listed as being from California, unlike the seller who is from Michigan.

Bidder:

Seller:

BUT the bidding pattern seems very strange. As previously discussed, newbies are very erratic a lot of times, and sometimes bid just based on the premise of: "Well if that guy thinks its worth that much, well than it is defintely worth that much plus $20.00", but the bidding pattern seems very strange to me after Frank placed his bid:

http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 8735096593

The thing that really bothers me about those bids are why the sudden and almost scared break off of the $100.00 bid increments? It is almost like the bidder is scared to take too big of a lead, and thus become less likely to be outbid. That seems to me to be more of behavior of an experienced bidder, and someone not trying to win, but just interested in jacking the bid up. I do not like the way this auction feels.....

JUst to throw a little mor gasoline on the fire, but the winner of lumberjaques Tsojconth auction was also from California:

eBay listings

He also has not bought anything since he bought that Tsojconth either.
