I have 28.  Dont have Dark Tower or Dragons of Despair, unless you count the Saga reprint (shudder) or the miniaturized version.

What?  Castle Greyhawk and Child's Play didnt make the list?  :P

By "scope of the poll," do you mean "scope of the article?"

I had nothing to do with the article, just to clarify. As to the poll, I thought it would just be a harmless way to see if anyone had all 30, or how many people would come in at 20-plus, etc.

But, my God, it's getting so you can't have a thread around here without a "this sucks; no THIS sucks" debate ... :?

Yeah, sorry about that; I can't believe I jumped from 30 to 27 ...

And either I'm missing something, or else you can't change the poll options once the original poll has been submitted.

Considering your answer to my mono back cover question...do I detect some pdfs?

*nearly chokes*

Hell no.  I wouldn't trust my collection to technology!  Are you insane?

( I should clarify; I only collect mono modules, and supers, for some reason. And rares, but I don't have any at the moment. ;) )

harami2000-

I use to have a lot more stuff! I had to go through what I had in my trunk. I didn't know what I had until 2 nights ago. Now that I'm selling my Tragic the Gathering cards to fund my AD&D addiction.

*looks impressed at your trunk of holding*. Why can't I find one of those around here?

Hey, neat to know you've managed to find all that! Image

Enjoy! Again!

So how far back does your MtG collection go? Are you going to sell on eBay or are you selling them locally? If you are going to sell them on eBay can you let me know when you are going to post them. I still dabble in collecting these still.

I pick "          27. Everything but that 3e crap" but don't call 3e crap, I just don't AGREE with their 3E choices

I'd swap out RoTTEE, CotSP, and FoF with these 3e adventures:

The Sunless Citadel

Shadows of the Last War

Grasp of the Emeral Claw

(I'm a Eberron fan obviously)

Keep the other 27 on there.  I like them all.

I'm no expert, that's just my 2 cp. :)

There are no bad editions of D&D, just Boring Players and Unimaginative DMs.

"So how far back does your MtG collection go?" - Marlith

I started buying them back in the days of Unlimited and Arabian Nights. But I didn't buy a lot then because I was buying for the artwork. I had been buying the Conan, Hildebrandt, and Frazetta cards and I saw these other two card systems...one of them was M:TG. So I scooped up a few packs. And in typical Zippanthropus fashion I saved a starter pack (unopened to this day). I sold my Unlimited Force Field and Time Vault recently on Ebay, and that is how I am selling them....a few cards at a time.

Anything ya looking for?

"*looks impressed at your trunk of holding*." - harami2000

Funny ya should mention that item. Recently, within the past 2 months, I got in touch with my old best friend. He came over and we were reminiscing of our days of AD&D. I pulled out my trunk and he said, "Holy shit, you still got that thing?". I got it back in 1988. But I didn't go through what was in it until a few nights ago. I saved some weird stuff in that magical device!

Top for me is Tomb of Horrors. But then I enjoy killing PCs :D

P.S. I got a whole loads of M:tG I need to unload. Couple of thousand cards I'd guess? Nothing less than 5 years old when I stopped collecting. I'm in the UK but feel free to msg me if you don't mind the postage across the pond! :)

I pointed this out when the list came out, and since the subject came up again...

Their polling was flawed. They asked each contributor to send them a top ten list, and then built a top thirty list with the submissions. You can't build a top thirty list from a list of top tens. Basically the first ten are trustworthy, but after that the list is more or less random.

*bump*

Martin, here is one of the threads that we discussed this in.  FWIW, this list was located in Dungeon Magazine #116 from November of 2004.
