I think I have an Outdoor Geos I can part with.

If you hit a Rowsdower, you get to keep it.

Wow! I didn't bother staying up after leaving my faith in a snipe. But it turned out to be a bit short.

Anyone else here with a $3k+ snipe that didn't register? Would be interested to know the level of support for such a price.

Great win. Incredible price. Congratulations red_bus.

Damn!  I knew I forgot to put a snipe in on something... I've been trying to downgrade my copy for years.

Thanks - I live in a v. small flat in the centre of London, so I can't really keep the kind of large collection that some people here have (would that I could!).  It is already bulging out of cupboards and off shelves... so i thought, i would go for fewer better, rather than volume. This is very much the centrepiece.

Oh, and I feel pretty good about bringing something like this across the Atlantic  :D  :D

Well done, red_bus, and congrats to Paul.  I'm sure you both must be VERY happy with the outcome.

Damn, this string of second-place finishes is really starting to kill me, though.

Well I guess this means red_bus will not be actively bidding in the new RJK auctions soon to be coming up. :P

Rob annnounced on his Pied Piper Publishing board back in late September that he is planning another auction set coming up soon. I do not know exactly when, but I imagine it will be within the next few months. I am sure Paul can confirm this for sure. :)

Yes. Auctions for Rob Kuntz, Steve Marsh, and a posthumous auction for Dave Sutherland's estate. Also, somwhere in the mix will be a one item auction for Len Lakofka and a vertiably huge auction for Kevin Hendryx.

Rob and Steve will have their auctions late Nov., Dave's will be run in Early Dec.

Of course, this all assumes I survive packaging up 443 items from this auction - that's 8 copier paper boxes full of stuff. I'll put the stats out when I'm done but there are an inordinate amount of Italian buyers.

Ciao!

Futures Bright,

Paul

Had someone told me 6 years ago a woodgrain would sell for 4k I would have thought it impossible.

The sky seems to be the limit for this stuff. What is the next step? Enter the newly minted millinonaires during the next dramatic economic growth?
