I appologize in advance to the mod if this is in the wrong place, but

I was wondering specifically if any of our posters are near Kyoto Japan (I'm sending my husband there after Yule to enjoy a week of culture and fun without me and the kids). We'd love some insights that will help him enjoy his trip. He's been dilligently studying the language (hopes not to mess it up too badly)...
