I have 4 messages queued!

If you hit a Rowsdower, you get to keep it.

Queued messages (in your Outbox) just means that the recipient hasn't physically clicked on the message in his inbox.   If a recipient has a full inbox, it will return an error message saying that.

Doesn't seem to work that way, Scott. (Just tested it again, myself).

If the mailbox is full, a new email will result in the deletion of the oldest PM from the recipient's inbox, but doesn't remove it from the sender's outbox (as far as I can tell).
Thus, Frank still sees four messages o/s whereas I can only see two remaining, because the others have been "lost". (Happens quite a bit when I have a 15-20 PM blitz and don't tidy-up any important messages in time :()

Any chance of increasing the mailbox size, please, if the mechanics cannot be altered?

Hmmm, I guess it isn't working the way I thought it would.  I've increased the inbox size slightly, but it was already set at 50 messages -- time to clear out the inbox, Harami.  :)

Foul

But that was only 50 messages.... *snuffles*
Thank you for the increase, Scott!
(And good to have you back somewhat more "full time", too ;))

Yeah, I know I'm slow at the best of times.
Trouble with a lot of these is that I've kept 10-15 message threads relating to particular sales/deals which I'm loathe to clear out until things have been squared-off. Can become very easy to "lose" messages amongst these and have them chopped by the limit before I notice (or even without me noticing).
Guess I need to copy/paste those all into Word, or something. *shrugs* need a lazy/sleeping cougar avvy, instead...

David,

Do you have your Acaeum profile set to receive notification of Private Messages by email?  If you do, the email contains the entire content of the PM (minus those cute emotes  :D  )

It's a good way to hang onto messages once you have to start deleting them from the acaeum.

i was just going to say that BTB. david what i do - i get a lot of PMs sometimes believe it or not (:D) and what i have started doing is, cos i get a copy via e-mail, i keep hold of that if i need it, in a "acaeum" box in my inbox and i delete the mail off the acaeum. thus doesnt cause any problems.

however i did notice the other day, that if i read my e-mail and not the acaeum mail, it sits in the senders outbox until i have done so.

this is obviously the problem you are having as you only "got 2 of frank's 4" .... ?

Yep; and around 200 others in the inbox, PM folder, etc. :?
(Plus will have to check the other thousand or so in the email spam folder, "just in case"... *sighs*).

aside: I have nearly a dozen "unread" PMs to various people in my outbox here that haven't yet been looked at... *nudges back*

Thanks, y'all! :)

(p.s. Why nearly 200 page views on this thread, though? :P)
