Two of the first phrases I taught my son to say were:  "Go Cowboys!" and "Yucky eagles!"

I hate those guys...especially the eagles fans.  philadelphia's veterans stadium was the only NFL park with a jail and courtroom built right into it.  That about says it all for the eagles fans.

I respect the Redskins...noble foes....but the eagles and philadelphia suck doody.

That is what's so ironic about T.O.....he was such a perfect example of an eagle player.  Now, the joke is on the Cowboys unless they beat the eagles.

Weren't the Giants fans the ones that year with the giant snow/iceball throwing in the stands that nailed a coach and knocked him unconcious?  And they say soccer hooligans are bad.
My favorite story re: Eagles fans was the year they put the jail and courthouse in the stadium, they had a plan for four teams of two undercover officers to walk around inside the stadium with the opposing team's jerseys to arrest people that were drunk and disorderly.  THEY DIDN'T EVEN GET INTO THE STADIUM ALL DAY, they made so many arrests outside just walking in they hit their quota of drunken asshats who physically assaulted the undercover officers, they didn't even HAVE to make any PI arrests.  When the article said the undercover officers were wearing COWBOY jerseys, somehow that made a lot of sense...

Actually, T.O. is perfect for the Cowboys.  He can continue in the fine tradition of Hollywod Henderson.

I'm going to teach my grandson those phrases, except substituting an "F" for the "Y" in the last phrase

Remember that Henderson goofed off one too many times...he was fired by a wrathful Tom Landry, who (as I recall) kicked him off the team when he saw footage of Henderson goofing off on the sidelines.  (Booted him immediately...right out of the building.)

Sure, I'll do it. I have to fill in your current e-mail address to get the process started; which address should I use?

Can someone help me figure this out. Placed the bid and am 99% sure I was the high bidder at $9.99. The I see the auction closes and 6 minutes later there is a $10 bid that beats me. Any ideas? I really am not that concerned about losing I just want to know why this might have happened.

Odd that it would show you as high bidder at $9.99 whe the 1st bid was $7.00 (some glitch maybe?), it should have said something like $7.25, then when the last bid came in would read $10.00 (course a deal was probably struck and they just needed to make themselves high bidder so the seller could end it)

Is the seller optimistic? Is the tale he weaves just an urban legend? This seems like ... uh ... way more than I'd ever pay just to role-play Dune:

i personally think that price is ludicrous, but then there might be SOMEONE out there who would be willing to pay it...

I see your really crazy price for Dune and raise you an even crazier Dune price:

Catalog | The Dragon's Trove
