What I want to know is if he pulled those names up from memory or if a writer researched them for him.

I think the Leonard Lakofka at GenCon X reference was real.

Funny how a game that has involved hundreds of hours of social interaction with upwards of 100 people over many years...including my wife, best man, guys-for-whom-I-have-been-best man and many other really really good friendships....not to mention their wives, girlfriends, parents, etc..how is this anti-social?

On the plus side, notice how the D&D=Satanism theme is now considered to be quite ridiculous?

Thanks for the link.  Very fun stuff.

Seems the price for shrinkwrapped Q1s seems to have righted itself:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 8775559243

$170 reduction, I gues that probably means that the 2 previous Q1s that broke $150 mark were a bit over priced.

<edit>

This shrinked GDQ1-7 actually went for very good price as well:

Ugh... I was breaking down the shipping boxes that had accumulated in my office over the last few weeks and noticed that one of them was a used pizza box.  In the sellers defense he had covered the grease and crumbs with a generous layer of newspaper and some plastic sheeting it was still rather gross.

LOL anyone watching wife swap right now....guest wife just smashed one of the guys minis with a hammer as punishment  8O  This episode  bodes well for the proliferation of the stereo-typical theory "that all gamers are odd "

Hmmm, $150+ might indeed be too high, but $23.82 I think is too low.  This is a flawed auction, and probably shouldn't be used as a means of arriving at a benchmark...  Seller used a stock photo here, probably putting off a number of bidders (it would me)...  We're talking about a supposedly shrinkwrapped item, and I want to see whether it looks like original shrink or reshrink...

bonk!

Maybe I am wrong but it seems that Cougarrinard is no longer a Titanium Rated Powerseller.
So sad,  :( .
What's happen?
Is it a dark omen of a recession in the RPG market ?   8O

Don't panic, I will gladly send you some bucks if you want to sell your H series or whatever before the global bearish tendency   .

Warning, tomorrow is a $0.10 listing day on EBay, so everyone get ready for all the morons out there listing eveything under the sun for ridiculous prices.

Think of your wedding ring as an Iron Band of Bilarro.

He is absolutely correct! I might add the Iron band gets heavier and tighter every day.

I could have sworn the Druid that married me and me gurl said something along the lines of, "One ring to rule them all...".

It is Saturday around 8:15 a.m EST here and I just noticed I am the only registered user on the Acaeum.

I gather I am the only one who didn't indulge in the St. Patty's drinkfest. Yep, married w/children. 8O

I'm ashamed to admit I was too sick to go out drinking yesterday.  I hereby resign as a part-Irish-Canadian.

Well, I went out last night and drank myself into oblivian.  :) I crawled out of bed about an hour ago, but I still haven't been able to fully wake up yet.

I haven't been drunk in almost 10 years!  I haven't been under the influence of anything in almost 5 years . . .

. . . Things have sure changed a lot since I used to live in Too-Stoned (Tucson) Arizona.  8)
