Alright, I am borrowing a link from DF again, but it is super funny, so I just had to share:

Star Wars Subbed in 1337

Most of the words (and meanins) covered here: Leet - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Although there are some on-line roleplaying terms chucked in to that prolly require explanation! Mostly from Dark Age of Camelot. Can provide a translation of those if you're that interested? (Doubtful I think!)

I thought it was very funny but there's alot of in-jokes I guess.

OKay, dumb question here. Does anybody have any idea as to that heck that little red square in this auction with the Mentzer Basic Set books:

Dungeons and Dragons Dice Lot | eBay

Never saw anything like it before. Anyone have any clue as to what it is?

Did the sellotape, freebie rust monster and general poor condition put anyone off bidding on the Dungeoneer and the correction sheet? ;)
4th- with all supps; $142
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 8758265885
(Aside from the GH (3rd?), how many of the others were 1st prints?)

Stephen's 5th w/o extras at $138 was a lot nicer!
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 8759285722
Those non-OCE boxes are rather prone to speckling and chipping so that's not a bad one at all, IMHO.

I'll skip commenting on one or two of the other prices (sorry!), but just give a nod in case anyone is really badly wanting a stated-high grade 1st PHB.
As just listed; viewtopic.php?t=3398

(I'd guess that's only $15-20 over judging by the more recent prices: not that many have been in that stated grade. What d'ya think?).

Ran across this site. Guy is selling some cool ghq minis.

RitterKrieg

My group used to play micro armor way back in the day. Had the big sand table and everything. Some fun days.

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

I like this one, too

Chuck Norris is 1/8th Cherokee. This has nothing to do with ancestry, the man ate a fucking Indian.

Sticky-backed plastic, only a 3rd print (by far the most common) and with other faults.
Goes to show how few GW MMs still have their text block attached to the spine?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 8766498233
$18 with 20 hours to go

(Hopefully that's not going to go too much higher!)

n.b. That's not a recommendation, hence the thread ;)
Just for ref/thoughts...

p.s. Oh, I almost forgot to re-check the PHB; http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 8762149715

What is the oldest gaming item you own?  Earliest printing...from the Elder Days...the Times Before.....       8O

Mine is either an old copy of Greyhawk or one of the first Player's Handbooks ever sold.
