And congrats to Ian for pulling in such a nice price for it.

Funny you should mention that. 2 copies were actually sold today, and neither one exceeded $130.00. Maybe they are not worth $300-$500.

I think the finish price would have been higher if Treasure Trove were not active this week, and if there weren't two up at the same time. But I was happy to recover my investment, and happy it went to a long term collector.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

I am 100% bewildered how these passed me by.  I can't for the life of me think how I missed a week without doing a 'Haunted Lighthouse' search, or how I missed your Classifieds post last Sunday.  :(
Had I seen that module before it ended, I would have tossed at least a $200 bid on it.

Youffie, nice win on the GW Character Sheets.  You got them for a pretty good price, I think:

sdelaney67 shells out ~1100 bucks for 7 of geomendezds shrink wrapped monochromes. I wonder why he didn't want B1.

Do you suppose ex-TSR archive modules are that special, or is he very lucky to have more money than patience?

I noticed that. Almost posted it in the "Silliest Auction Price" thread, but decided it would be off-topic. Reason: those prices aren't silly; they're scary! I feel this could lead to a renewed temptation among some sellers to reshrink their items. Of course no offense to geomendezd, whose items looked authentically shrinked, and who is entitled to receive as much profit as bidders are willing to provide him.

bonk!

Definitely authentic shrink, but agreed, some totally disproportionate prices in there (IMHO).
*yay*. $192 for a SW'd S1 :!: ; eBay.com Item Bid History
(and that one was in better condition than a few of the others which sold higher, yet had very minor spine creases)

*wonders whether kires or sdelaney would be interested in a NM/SW'd Games Workshop printing S1 (RARE!!! UNIQUE???)*

Think I'll post a summary of David's recent prices for reference purposes.
Has certainly been an "interesting" set of auctions (mostly from a distance ;))

Wow! I don't remember TSR ever using this particular piece of artwork before . . . :D (probably would have sold a ton of whatever supplement they put it on if they had).

Also copyright infringment. But nice pic so I might be inclined to let it slide.

*** EDITED FOR DAVID ***

i have managed to get ebay to remove six of these listings so far.

Okay, sorry about that . . . I know, I know.  It really didn't occur to me that it could be judged not worksafe.

I didn't know where else to put this, so . . .

Image

It came in an OCE.  The other pages are all minis for the various lines.

I like the prices and the selection.

Merry Christmas!!!

Thanks, tfm!

That'll make a nice little searching list/checklist for that early TSR stuff!
