ehi folks, i'd like to come back to this 1st print:

** expired/removed eBay auction **

...what's your opinion of that auction?
...i have been confused a little bit: i mean that when i left my bid i felt a double feeling (no, it's not my hidden secret personality :D )... i felt both happy because i was running for a 1st woody and upset as i was going to spend money money for a set which is not complete and prob will never...
what do you think in buying "THE" d&d item not complete... of course the price will be much more cheap than a complete set, but does it worth it? would you be happy in owning an uncomplete woody???

i would be happy owning one that was cheap. thats that :) that being the case, i doubt i will ever get one, but then i am not that bothered :D

Al

ps. anything incomplete seems a waste of time to me, but hey there you are.

Same feeling here.   If I ever decide I need a woody I definitely want a complete one and it better be nice looking.  With the current auction prices for one in said condition, I expect I will only ever own one unless I win the lottery or find one in a used bookstore or garage sale.  :D

This sentence sure would be weird in any other context.

I can think of a few sentences that might be 'misinterpreted'.

"I am selling my Woody.  Highest bid gets it."
"My Woody is in near mint condition...never been used."
"You can have my Woody when you pry it from my cold, dead hands."
"Awww man...I have mold on my Woody!"

:D

I don't mind paying a reasonable amount for a set that is incomplete but in this case, I wish the missing book wasn't the Men & Magic book.

I'll try again:

Someone made a huge offer on a lot of precious items, including some Wee Warriors stuff, that was on ebay.  No big deal.
