I'm wondering if there are any store owners on these boards or people that have good connections with some as I'd be interested in the Curse of
Gethin Abbey adventure that is being run in the Worldwide Dungeons & Dragons Game Day 2006 Saturday, November 4.

Curse of  Gethin Abbey is for Ravenloft and for 3.5 but I'd still like to get one if possible (have asked if it will be put online and Wizards has said no)

Extra funny because of the direct reference to the 3.5 rules.   8)

The week or so after it is played, check Ebay.  Many of the store owners or insiders who get these put them up for auction directly afterwards, most of the time they don't sell for much.  I got a bunch of Game Day modules from past years once in a lot for about $5 each, included the minis also.

And he is buying up more from other sellers.  And at quite a cost I might add.

Emperor of The North: DVDs & Blu-ray Discs | eBay

The RPG market must be somehow connected to the price of natural gas.  Six months ago I paid $2.90 for a gallon of gas and got a complete CSWE for $40.  Now I am paying $2.20 for a gallon of gas and I see this.  It is a damn conspiracy I tell you!

Or maybe I have been watching too much TV lately.

After a month hiatus from ebay - I hate it when life gets too busy to even hit the internet - I have noticed that there are lots of newbays buying up early TSR stuff. Lots of people with feedback under 20-30 are winning consistently...

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

(ahem)

Golf.  Ryder Cup.  Europe vs America.

Not sure what the right word is...  Would it be: "complete wondrous victory and total crushing annihilation of the other side?" or perhaps a somewhat pithier "whitewash", or maybe an even shorter "TPK!!"

Maybe you guys would do better if golfers had to wear helmets, ridiculous shoulder pads and you could carry the ball forward instead of having to hit it in a straight line...  :P

Go Montgomerie!!!!!!

PS. not actually a golfer myself, just using
a wonderful opportunity for some gratutious flag-waving
and the building upon cordial transatlantic relations

Has anyone else seen the preview for a new movie coming out this xmas called Eragon?  Saw the preview today and it looks very promising.  The fantasy action remind me of The Chronicles of Narnia but with a much darker tone.  You can check out the trailer here:

Eragon - Movie Trailers - iTunes

I just hope Jeremy Irons does a better job of acting in this movie than the craptacular performance he did in Dungeons & Dragons.  :P
