good luck to improv :)

wish i could afford more really....would have really liked that. maybe next time :)

mind you i could just go to next years gen con and get two :D

Improv seems to have very deep pockets. * Remembers $7K+ on the Kuntz auctions. *

It seems that 'what Mike wants, Mike gets...' and that goes for IO too. Maybe IO and Improv are the same person? One rich dude with a house in the States and another in Oz? :D

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

You speak too soon ... anyone know who Firen is?  Please note these copies are as minty as you going to find them.  Howard has kept these nicely stored away for many years.

Relatively speaking our *rares* are cheap. Just saw an aboriginal painting (Lundari by Rover Thomas) on the news valued for over 1 million dollars.  Not bad for a peice of canvas painted 20 years ago in the middle of a desert.

If only this was true ... sadly the truth is far different.  Hmm.. IO and Improv the same ... lets see:

1. We both are obsessed by gaming

2. We both collect rares

2. We both have the same name

3. We live in separate countries on the opposite side of the world

Yep, I think the evidence is overwelming we must be the same person.

Maybe its the name "Mike". I know of at least 2 other folks around here with the name Mike that have seriously large collections.

I think Howard is dumping one of these about once year or so. He sold one within the last 8 months or so. We had an email exchange as I also worked for MDG at the time, and I haven't seen him in more than 20 years. Nice guy.

I am guessing it will go for around $1,350.

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

:P

The second GenCon auction copy would've done me. (Ever so slight premium for "mint", there).

I wish I knew who "Howard" is.   :(

How 'ard would it be for one of you to tell me?    :?

Who is he, please?      :?:

Not a good bclarkie day.   I hadnt even looked at the auction again before I put my previous post.  Dude, $1,601.45!!! 8O   Well that eliminates any inklings I had of placing another bid in there at the end.

Who are these people anyway?? 1st some guy named gutboy.barrellhouse with a 7 feedback wins the 1st/2nd print woody auction for a seeming ridiculous price and now some mark11777 guy shows up and has this Tsojconth auction at a riduclous price. WFT?!

The cover fold is 90% intact, with the exception of the tear on the bottom and a smaller one threatening to break in the centre. It is not "torn in half" ;)  And that was scary how fast you noticed the auction!
