Empire of the Petal Throne dated 1975 with a 1977 instruction booklet (I'm not familiar enough with it to know the print run). Torn box. $US56.99 with 8.5 hours to go.

Damn, I am still looking for one, but that one is a little too beat up for my taste.  :(

Fritz Leiber: Books | eBay

Anybody know who this seller is?  Interesting note in the auction description:

"Here is your chance to own the modernized version of this father of all fantasy games!

In addition, you get one of the original PLAYTEST MAPS from the TSR redesign.  I cannot guarantee it was drawn by Gary Gygax (the creator of Dungeons and Dragons and the founder of TSR), but it was sent to me personally by him back in the days when he was heavily hands-on with new TSR product.

BONUS: You will also get COPIES (not the originals) of a letter by Fritz Lieber, a postcard by Lieber, and a letter from Harry Fischer (which he signes as the Gray Mouser!)  [I will keep the originals of the correspondence, but will give the winner of this auction copies for free.]  The postcard references the origins of this game.  All three offer a tiny insight into the fantasy world of game and fiction created by these two men, as well as their joy of games."

If this is the father of all fantasy games then who is the mother?  :D   What is interesting is that he states that Gygax sent him the playtest map and he has letters from Fritz Leiber and the designer of the game.  I dont know anything about the game myself but this might be a nice pickup for someone if it is in fact genuine.

Seller has a some other auctions but this is the one that strikes my fancy. GW Tomb and an R3. Not in the market for either right now but I wanted to make sure they get proper exposure as at least one is fairly rare!

I am 99% sure that the silver set is a relist. One just like it went up a few weeks ago.

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

Thanks Ralf.  For those who might be interested in one of these Silver Ann. boxes, the second auction listed above is not a complete set, I believe.  It appears to be missing the I6 Ravenloft reprint.

bonk!

Queen of the Spiders & Temple of Elemental Evil in real nice condition:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... RK:MEWA:IT

Seller is a little bit dodgy, but price is still pretty reasonable.

Here is a Forgotten Realms Atlas out of the UK with only a $15.50 BIN:

Ad&d Forgotten Realms | eBay

These things usualy nab a pretty good price so especially if you are in the UK it would be well worth it to pick up. :)

Don'y you usually grab up stuff that is that good for resell purposes  :?: . Nice item though I had that entire issue with the UK person a bit ago over a copy. Was happy that one  8) of the of the nice people here tried to help. Ended up picking on up local for $4.98 so it worked out ok for me.
