I think I will have to take a pass.    Seriously, I love video games and online games are cool as sh*t, but anyone who spends $1k on an online character is a freakin idiot.

GraysonAC wrote:Imo, it's no more goofy than paying $1k+ for a book that will sit in a collection ;)

Obviously to each his own but I can guarantee in 25 years when I try to sell my $1000 book someone will be much more likely to buy it for $1000 than a character from a 25 year old online game, if even still exists.

I do not have the monetary power to go after this stash, but someone else might:

Is it possible that one or two of the items in this lot might be valuable or rare?     :?

Doubt that's worth $450 (unless those miniatures are -really- valuable), but those are some nice-condition books for sure.

The Heritage Dungeon Dwellers box sets can go for $50 each so it's actually a pretty decent haul.  I wish he had broken up those minis boxes into individual lots because I still need one of them...  :(

I was not saying it might not be worth the price just that he started it higher and may have scared some people who might have ended up paying more than that but are not willing to start that high. If I ever actually sold anything I would be tempted.

I guess I do not think like a collector should.  I was thinking of wallowing like a hog in mash in all of those modules.   :D
