Dwarven Glory - check out his other auctions as well - loads of odds and ends including several fanzines.
Interested to know where this lot came from - ebay id doesn't put him down as a gamer but I haven't done any research/asked any questions

Heh, I am pretty happy with this. Granted its clearly not in perfect condition, but I am content just the same. :D Now if Weewarriors will send me a second chance offer on that Misty Isles I got blown away on last night.

You remember that test I did a few days ago to see how reliable eBay was at manually sniping in the last few seconds... :(

This is becoming a habit, Al. :?

improvstone wrote:Must be double congradulations for David ... you must have received that pay rise you were seeking

Nope, not at all. That would still have been over a month's pay. :)

improvstone wrote:Seriously well done! And where was our big mouthed creep friend? No where to be seen in the end!

I think you can guess how happy I was that he didn't re-appear.
Was definitely a concern that he might drive up the price during the auction and possibly even end up winning if he scented blood (rather than just playing around with us).
Then, the threat of that appearing at an outrageous price in his resale list a week or two later... :?

Hidden treasures await....maybe....

Planes of Chaos set with other unknown modules, magazines etc. They say 21 items, I am guessing the 4 that should be there, a Horror On the Hill and maybe up to sixteen valuable mystery items.....

I ask them for titles but they said it had already been packaged  :?

Dammit all but I am really starting to hate this thread    :x
How in the hell am I to build up my collection in large chunks by buying lots that I need when resellers are constantly seeing things posted in this thread and snatching them up!! Then I have to buy items ONE at a time instead of MANY at a time AND I have to pay a premium for EACH one to the resellers that keep sniping the hell out of lots that I need to fill big chunks of my collection.....
WAIT A MINUTE.....
ohhhh...
thats what a vicious circle is.....
maybe I should just sell and save myself the heart attack :(
