Has anyone heard from the Dwarven Glory seller about the extent of any writing & marking on it?

Please be aware that it has been used and thus may have marks or writing in it.

Looks like my $400 top bid is not going to hold up again.

I did not ask about condition.

$400.00?! Am I missing something here?

You are. :wink:  But even still if Martin is talking about a $400.00 snipe for what seems to be a VG-F 2nd print Dwarven Glory. 8O  The last 2 that I saw went back in late spring, both went for less than $225.00 and both were in better listed condition. I personally am not done bidding, but I promise you if a $400.00 bid comes in I will not be winning this one, nor do I think anyone else will either.

One of those might have been mine.  I'm pretty sure it went for under $225, but it was a third print.  This one is a second print, isn't it?

Yours was a third printing and this one is a 2nd.  The last 2 2nd prints I can remember were Frank's and a seller under the name of Bryron or something like that.

$400.00 is to high on this one, I would take it for $225.00 though!

Dungeon #8-27 (20 issues, not 19 as stated)
eBay listings << broken URL
$41 with <6 hours to go

Some decent collection-building/reseller material, esp. in the first three lots
eBay listings
$33, $29, $7 with <1 day to go

Various completist goodies;
eBay listings
(& IMO the M&TA 1&2 are probably still worth the asking price, despite the distorted auction-history value listed here; $4 for a Mint M&TA 2? :?)

Hehe...no, I've only got a T1st.  This is the first GK 2nd I've seen, so I might be digging in on this one.

thx for that comment! :P

Would be hard pushed to rate it personally as a "4", since the T1st could justifiably be given a "5" and appears about as often on eBay. (I've picked up three of the five-or-so noted GK 2nds on eBay in the past couple of years).
In the rush for first printings, some pretty scarce stuff tends to get "overlooked" and the timeframe for the GK2nd Greyhawk is still in woodgrain territory whereas the 1st Blackmoor is in "white box country" ;)

JMO, of course. :)

(I'm perpetually mystified as to the price and rarity quoted for the "more-common" non-T1st, since I've still not seen a copy and there's only a three month timeslot to fit that printing into. *tries waving $100 this time*).

Dungoens & Dragons OCE; books and ref sheets look OK: freebie sat-upon box at current price;

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 8707066942
$99.99 start with <2 1/2 days to go

DLA1-3 NM in SW (not a "big" auction, but nice to snag all three at once and p&p isn't overly high)

I think there is a misunderstanding.  I do not have a snipe in for the Dwarven Glory.  The 400 number is just what I would be will to pay if I was in the market.  I'm not right at the moment.

Be wary of bidding on dungoendad's auctions he was previously busted and suspended for shilling his own auctions. :x I think my post to him in the shady dealers thread with that reference is probably why he decided to go away. :)
